Frequently Asked Questions
Can Who's In manage team formation for hackathons?▼
There's no team builder or automatic team matching. Teams can register together with group registration, and solo participants see rule-based suggestions of people to meet, scored from shared interests, roles and goals on their registrations.
Does it support project submission portals?▼
No. Who's In has no project submission portal. Most organizers collect projects on Devpost or a form, and use Who's In for registration, the schedule, badges and check-in.
How do judging rubrics work?▼
Who's In doesn't score projects. Award points to attendees as the event runs; registered participants see the standings on the leaderboard. Rubric scoring, team results and final rankings happen in your judging tool.
Can sponsors have branded challenges within the hackathon?▼
Each sponsor challenge can be its own track in the schedule, and sponsors appear in tiers with their logos. Your team scans attendee badges for each sponsor (with the attendee's consent), and each sponsor sees and exports its leads in its own portal. Prizes and sponsor judging are run by you, outside Who's In.
Does it handle overnight/24-48hr hackathon logistics?▼
Participants check in by QR badge when they arrive, with live check-in counts on your dashboard, and the schedule can run across several days. There are no repeat checkpoints or catering windows; every registration records dietary and accessibility needs.
What is the pricing for hackathon management?▼
