Questions? We've got answers.
Is Who's In really free?▼
Who's In Events is free forever for free events — recurring events, waitlists, QR check-in, reminders, custom branding, analytics, and Apple/Google Wallet passes are all included. Paid events incur a flat 2.7% transaction fee on tickets. Studio (from $15.83/mo billed annually), Clubs (from $8.25/mo), and Conference (from $40.83/mo) are paid products built on top of the free Events platform.
What is the 2.7% transaction fee?▼
Who's In Events charges a flat 2.7% fee on paid event tickets only. This covers platform costs. There are no per-ticket surcharges, no per-event monthly fees, and no setup fees. Free events are always $0. Refund a ticket and the 2.7% fee is automatically refunded too — you're only charged on money you keep. Studio/Clubs/Conference subscribers pay no transaction fee on member payments — only the monthly subscription.
How does Who's In compare to Eventbrite pricing?▼
Eventbrite charges 3.7% + $1.79 per ticket plus 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing — totalling 10-14% per ticket. Who's In Events charges just 2.7% flat. For a 100-person event at $25/ticket, you save over $200 with Who's In.
Are there any hidden fees or upsells?▼
No hidden fees on any plan. Events: a flat 2.7% platform fee on paid tickets plus Stripe's standard card processing (typically 2.9% + 30¢, charged by Stripe, not us), $0 otherwise. Studio/Clubs/Conference: flat subscription with 0% platform fee on member payments (Stripe processing applies to card payments). Every feature in your plan is included — no gating, no surprise upgrade prompts, no per-feature charges.
How do organizers get paid for ticket sales?▼
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Money goes directly to the organizer's bank account. Unlike Eventbrite, which holds funds until after the event, Who's In enables instant payouts through Stripe.
What does Studio cost vs Mindbody?▼
Who's In Studio: $15.83/mo billed annually ($190/year) for the Starter tier. Mindbody: $99–$139/mo minimum (branded app +$200/mo extra). Same core capability — multi-instructor scheduling, member booking, automated waitlists, branded booking page, class packs, drop-ins, memberships — at roughly 1/8 the cost.
What does Conference cost vs Cvent?▼
Who's In Conference: $40.83/mo billed annually ($490/year) for the Starter tier. Cvent: $5,000+/year minimum, sales-led process. Same core capability — registration, multi-day agendas, badge printing, speaker management, sponsor portals — at roughly 1/10 the cost. For events from 50 to 5,000 attendees.
