Acceptable Use Policy

Who's In is for organising real events — parties, classes, clubs, meetups, conferences. Use it for that, treat people well, and follow the law. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where it grants us a right to act, those terms govern.

• Spam or deceive — post fake, bait, or bulk low-quality events, or manipulate search/ranking.
• Scam, phish, or defraud — solicit payments, credentials, or personal data under false pretences, or run fraudulent ticketing.
• Impersonate — pose as another person, brand, or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Publish harmful content — anything hateful, harassing, threatening, or that incites violence or self-harm.
• Share sexual or explicit material, or content that sexualises minors (which we report to authorities).
• Break the law — promote illegal goods, services, or activity, or infringe others' intellectual property.
• Endanger people — organise events designed to cause harm, or omit safety information you know is material.
• Abuse the platform — probe, overload, scrape, or circumvent our security, rate limits, or moderation.

To protect people from spam and impersonation, an event from a brand-new organiser may not be surfaced to search engines immediately. It stays fully accessible by its direct link and is promoted normally once the organiser is established or the event shows genuine activity. This does not limit your ability to share your own event.

Every public event page has a “Report this event” link. Use it if you see something that breaks this policy — spam, a scam, impersonation, or harmful content. Reports go straight to our team. You can also email [email protected]. We review reports promptly and, where warranted, remove the event and/or suspend the account.

We may remove content, hide an event from search, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account that breaks this policy — with or without notice depending on severity. Removal of an event does not entitle the organiser to a refund of platform fees where the removal follows a policy breach. We preserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement.
