Switch from Partiful to Who's In

Partiful is great for one-off social parties — but if your events are recurring, branded, or grow into a community, you outgrow it fast. Move to Who's In with a branded organiser presence, recurring event tools, attendee CRM, and ad-free experience for your guests.

Every feature included free forever. No credit card required.

Why organizers switch from Partiful

Partiful is one-off-party-first — not recurring

Partiful is built for invitations to a single party. Recurring events (weekly run club, monthly book club, quarterly pop-up) are awkward — you create each one manually with no template inheritance, and your audience doesn't accumulate across events.

Who's In supports recurring events natively + multi-event series with shared templates. Your audience accumulates: people who came to last month's run club see your next one without re-discovering you.

Ad-supported guest experience

Partiful is free for organisers because it shows ads to guests. For brand-conscious organisers, hosts running professional events, or anyone who wants a clean guest experience, the ads dilute the brand.

Who's In is ad-free for guests. Free for free events on your side, 2.7% on paid tickets. The guest experience is yours, not interrupted by third-party ads.

No CRM, no segmentation, no member building

Partiful tracks RSVPs per party but doesn't give you a CRM, segmentation, or a way to build a recurring audience. Each party starts from scratch.

Who's In bundles attendee CRM (full segmentation, custom fields, lifecycle tagging), recurring events with audience accumulation, member portal for repeat attendees. Your one-off parties become a community over time.

Step 1: Export from Partiful

Get your data out

1

Export RSVP list per event

In Partiful, open each event > Guests > Copy / Export. Captures guest name, phone (Partiful uses phone as primary), RSVP status.

2

Document upcoming events

Take screenshots or note upcoming events with date/time/location/RSVP count.

3

Document recurring patterns

If you run a recurring series (weekly run club, monthly book club), document the pattern for replication.

4

Identify high-frequency RSVPers

Across past events, identify guests who RSVP'd to 3+ of your events. They're your highest-value direct migration targets.

5

Decide on cutover

Migrate next event to Who's In. Email + text your existing audience the new home with the founder's note + the value-add (better recurring tools, no ads, member portal).

Step 2: Set up on Who's In

Get running in minutes

1

Create your Who's In organiser presence

Sign up at whos-in.app. Add organisation name, branding, custom domain.

2

Recreate upcoming events

For each event, set name, date, time, location, capacity, dress code, food/drink notes. Use the Partiful export as your reference.

3

Import guest list per event

For each event, Attendees > Import > Upload Partiful CSV. Map name, phone, RSVP status. Note: Partiful uses phone as primary, so collect emails post-migration.

4

Set up recurring + multi-event series

Use the Recurring Event template for weekly / monthly series. Use Clone Event to spin up sequential events from a master template. Audience accumulates.

5

Configure tiered ticketing (if paid)

If you charge for events (cover charges, dinner deposits), set up Stripe Connect Standard for early-bird, standard, late tiers.

6

Build attendee CRM segments

With your migrated guests, build CRM segments (high-frequency, lapsed, VIPs, etc.). Use for targeted outreach to upcoming events. Members get a branded PWA portal.
