How the Automatic Waitlist Works

When your event reaches capacity, additional RSVPs automatically go to a waitlist.

Automatic promotion: When someone drops out, the next person on the waitlist is automatically: 1. Promoted to confirmed 2. Sent an email notification 3. Updated on the event page

Manual promotion: You can manually promote someone from the waitlist: 1. View your attendee list 2. Find the waitlisted person 3. Click "Promote" (organizer view only)

Waitlist positions: Guests see their position (#1, #2, etc.) so they know where they stand.
