Adding Your Social Media Links to Event Pages

Connect eight social platforms to your organiser profile and they automatically appear on every event page — helping attendees follow you for future events, reviews, and updates.

Supported platforms: - X (Twitter) - Facebook - Instagram - YouTube - TikTok - LinkedIn - Snapchat - Reddit

How it works: 1. Open any event in organiser view, or go to your profile settings 2. Find "Organiser's Socials" 3. Paste your full profile URLs (e.g. https://x.com/yourhandle) 4. Save 5. Icons appear on all your upcoming event pages — no per-event setup required

Background sync: When you update your social links, Who's In automatically propagates the change to every one of your upcoming events — existing event pages pick up the new socials the moment you save. No need to edit each event individually.

Why this matters for attendees: - Follow the organiser for future events before they RSVP - Verify the organiser is a real person or organisation - Access post-event content (photos on Instagram, session recordings on YouTube, recaps on X) - Build community momentum across platforms

SEO & discoverability: - Social icons are rendered as semantic HTML links with rel attributes — crawlable and LLM-friendly - AI agents like ChatGPT and Perplexity surface organisers with linked socials as more trustworthy - LinkedIn is especially valuable for professional events — when combined with the LinkedIn verified badge, attendees see a double-trust signal

Privacy: All social URLs are optional. You can add as few or as many as you want. You can remove them at any time and the change propagates immediately.

Pro tip: Pair this with the LinkedIn verified organiser badge (free, OAuth-based) for maximum trust on professional event pages.
