Sharing Documents with Attendees
Attach up to 3 files to your event page so attendees can download them directly — agendas, waivers, packing lists, menus, schedules, ticket templates, whatever they need. Adding helpful documents leads to happier guests and smoother events.
How it works: 1. Go to your event's organiser view 2. Find the "Event Media" card 3. Toggle "Documents" on 4. Upload files (drag-drop or click to browse) 5. Attendees see a clean list with download buttons on the public event page
Technical details: - Up to 3 documents per event - Max 2MB per file - Whitelisted formats: - PDF (.pdf) - Microsoft Office (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx) - Apple iWork (.pages, .numbers, .keynote) - Plain text (.txt, .csv, .rtf) - Each file can be renamed with a human-friendly display name - Downloads are logged (organiser-visible count, no personal data) - Files remain available after the event ends (useful for post-event materials)
Security: - Server-side MIME validation — no executable uploads - Storage-path validation prevents cross-event file injection even if someone bypasses the UI - Documents are public on the event page — don't upload anything confidential
Common use cases: - Training courses: prerequisites PDF, reading list, joining instructions - Conferences: agenda, speaker bios, map, code of conduct - Corporate events: dress code, travel guide, expense policy - Retreats and workshops: packing list, waiver, dietary preference form - Weddings and parties: menu, seating chart, schedule - Charity events: sponsor deck, donation breakdown, tax-receipt template - Club events: match rules, pairing lists, safety briefing
Pro tip: Upload a signed waiver or consent form as a PDF — attendees can download, print, sign, and bring it on the day. Studios and fitness events love this.
