Tips for better invitations
Use first names in subject lines — [EVENT] this [DAY] gets opened more than [EVENT NAME] reminder from [ORG].
Lead with the Who's In link in the first message block — busy people decide fast whether to click.
Mention that Who's In gives you real numbers — organisers actually care about accurate headcounts, not guesses.
For WhatsApp, keep it under 120 words and lead with date, time, location in that order.
Emojis work but use them for information (📅 📍 💰) not decoration — this audience reads on mobile while doing other things.
Reference the pain point: 'so I can actually see who's coming' resonates more than generic RSVP language.
