How to Set Up a Training Course

Create and manage training courses, workshops, and certifications with automatic booking, waitlists, and QR check-in.

3 minutes read

1

Choose the Training Course template

When creating an event, select the "Training Course" template for smart defaults like 25-person capacity and attendance tracking.

💡 Tip: You can also select the "Training Course" category manually when creating from scratch.
2

Add course details

Enter your course title, description, date, time, and venue. Include what trainees will learn.

💡 Tip: Be specific about prerequisites, materials provided, and what to bring.
3

Set capacity and waitlist

Set your maximum number of trainees. The automatic waitlist handles overflow.

💡 Tip: Common capacities: 10-15 for hands-on workshops, 25-50 for lectures, 100+ for seminars.
4

Add items to bring

List what trainees should bring — notebooks, laptops, safety gear, photo ID for certifications.

💡 Tip: Clear instructions reduce no-shows and improve the training experience.
5

Set up paid booking (optional)

Enable paid tickets if you charge for the course. Set your price and Who's In handles payment collection.

💡 Tip: Flat 2.7% fee on paid events — lowest in market.
6

Share and track attendance

Share your course link and use QR code check-in on the day to track attendance. Export attendee data as CSV.

💡 Tip: QR check-in is perfect for certifications that require proof of attendance.

You're all set!
