No-Show Fee
A no-show fee is a charge applied to students who book a class but fail to attend without cancelling. Typical amounts: $5-25, or one class credit deducted from a pack. No-show fees discourage capacity-blocking behaviour and offset the lost revenue when waitlist promotion times out. Studios typically charge the fee a defined window after class start if the student hasn't checked in. The policy must be clearly displayed at booking to be enforceable.
