Cancellation notice is the required advance period before a recurring membership stops billing. Common periods: 0 days (cancel-anytime), 14 days, 28 days, or 30/60 days. Longer notice protects studio revenue but creates friction; shorter notice prioritises member trust and reduces switching cost. The notice must be clearly disclosed at signup with required acknowledgment to be enforceable.
