Chairperson

A chairperson (or chair) is the elected leader of a club's committee or board, responsible for setting the strategic direction, chairing committee meetings, representing the club at NGB / external events, and acting as the club's primary public spokesperson. Typically elected at the AGM for a 1-3 year term. The chairperson role is unpaid in amateur clubs.
