AGM (Annual General Meeting)

An AGM (Annual General Meeting) is a once-yearly gathering where club members vote on committee positions, approve financial statements, ratify rule changes, and discuss club direction. Most clubs are constitutionally required to hold one within a defined window (typically within 15 months of the previous AGM). Modern clubs use their member platform for AGM logistics: notice period via group announcement, agenda distribution as a club document, attendance tracking via QR check-in, and minutes archive in the member portal. Voting is typically run separately (in-person show of hands, or a free dedicated voting tool such as Helios for secret-ballot motions).
