Membership Pause

Membership pause is the temporary suspension of recurring dues, typically for 1-12 months. Common pause reasons: medical, travel, financial hardship, or seasonal absence. During pause, members retain their tier and pricing but are not charged and may have access restricted. Pause policies reduce hard cancellations significantly — members who can pause for 6 months rarely cancel outright. Many clubs cap total pause days per year (e.g., 12 weeks).
