Introductory period is a discounted entry window for new members, typically 30-90 days. Examples: $30 for first 30 days unlimited, $99 for first 3 months, or $49/month for first 3 months versus $89 thereafter. Introductory periods convert at 30-50% to ongoing memberships and serve as the studio's primary acquisition lever. The period must end automatically (no manual renewal) to maintain conversion economics.
