Badge printing is the conference-day production of attendee name badges, typically with a name, organization, role/track, QR code, and sometimes a LinkedIn URL or photo. Modern conferences print badges on-demand at the registration desk via thermal printers tied to the registration database — replacing pre-printed badges that arrive misspelled or for no-shows. Badges typically include lanyard slots and may carry RFID or QR scanning for session check-in and lead capture.
