Breakout Room
A breakout room is a smaller conference session space (typically 20-150 capacity) used for workshops, small-group discussions, panels, and topic-specific deep-dives, in contrast to the main plenary hall (500-5,000 capacity). Breakout rooms typically run on a multi-track parallel schedule. Conference platforms manage breakout-room capacity, registration (some breakouts are first-come-first-served, others ticketed), and check-in.
